Update Services

SunGard Public Sector’s Update Services team will help you successfully install the software releases, tax updates and service packs which are released periodically. The goal of Update Services is to streamline the update process for your organization, thereby keeping your ERP solution optimally configured while minimizing the impact on your IS team.

Depending on your business requirements, expertise level and preference, the following services may be arranged to be performed by the Update Services team:

  • Full release updates to accounts (i.e. test, production, disaster recovery, etc)
  • Service pack updates to accounts
  • Web server updates

For those clients that choose not to utilize the Update Services method for software update delivery, the software updates are available for download from the IFAS Insider client support page.

Project Plan

To assist with planning and management of upgrades, Update Services has developed an extensive project plan for your reference. This project plan provides you with all of the necessary steps and milestones in an upgrade and can be downloaded from IFAS Insider. The Update Services Coordinator is available to provide consultation for how the project plan applies to your organization.
